The 2026 Cultural Week is held in Vegadeo with a series of activities that combine literature, local history, and social recognition. Organized by the Amigos de Vegadeo association and the City Council, the program takes place in various iconic spaces of the municipality.

- Monday, August 3: Presentation of the book El ferrocarril de Villaodrid a Ribadeo by José Antonio Gómez Martínez (19:30, Auditorio Félix Menéndez).
- Tuesday, August 4: Guided tour “A Veiga al pé” (17:30, departure from the Quiosco da Música) and lecture “Memoria de Arnao. Campo de concentración de Figueras” by Fernando García (19:30, Auditorio Félix Menéndez).
- Wednesday, August 5: Lecture “Historia da traducción na nosa fala” given by Natalia Riego Arredondas (19:30, Casa de Cultura de Vegadeo).
- Thursday, August 6: Award ceremony for the XXVIII Vegadense del Año to Isabel Oliveros Martínez (20:30, Auditorio Félix Menéndez).
