Saudade – La Westia Producciones

Saudade is a theatrical biopic by La Westia Producciones about Fernando Pessoa, at the Teatro Auditorio de Grado, as part of the Asturies, Cultura en Rede program.

The audience delves into Pessoa’s universe through Ofelia Queiroz, the woman who saved the poet from self-destruction, who recounts what their misunderstood love was like and, through her memories, immerses the spectator in the multiple lives and visions of Fernando. It is a review of the career, work, and most hidden secrets of the Portuguese author, from the feminine perspective of who was his only love and accompanied by his faithful heteronyms: a journey of lights, shadows, images, and splits, a melancholic and cathartic fado into the interior of the human mind.
