About the event

About the exhibition

The Sala de Fotografía at the Centro Niemeyer hosts the exhibition “Ramón Masats. Visit Spain”, which captures the journey the photographer took between 1955 and 1965, traveling across the geography of Spain with his camera. Curated by Chema Conesa, the exhibition explores the clichés of the era, the end of autarky, and the reality of a country marked by material poverty and spiritual bondage.

Ramón Masats, awarded the National Photography Prize in 2004, offers a gaze that transcends optical reality, inviting the visitor to their own interpretation.
