The 3.6 km, 820-meter elevation gain race takes place through historical landscapes in the Laviana council, linked to ancient mining.
- It starts in the Soto de Lorío square and ascends through trails to the iron and copper mines of Llampaces, active since ancient times and managed in the 19th century by Félix Romero and Co.
- The mineral was transported by a 1 km aerial cable to the Cimalavilla factory.
- The route, which follows an old mining trail, reaches an altitude of nearly 1000 meters at Pico Fueyu, where the effort is rewarded with spectacular views.
- The runners’ effort is connected to the legacy of the miners who shaped this land, creating a unique bond between history, nature, and sports.
