José Manuel Tejedor
José Manuel Tejedor is one of the most awarded gaiteros in the Principality of Asturias. Triple winner of the Trofeo Macallan held at the Festival de Lorient, in addition to leading the group with the most projection in the Principality for more than 20 years and four successful discs, TEJEDOR.
Awards such as the Urogallo de Bronce, award for Best singer, 3 Amas de la música Asturiana awards and National Music Award in 2008. The collaborations are countless during his career, Kepa Junkera, Michael Mcgoldrick, Duncan Chisholm, Phil Cunningahm, John Joe Kelly, Faltriqueira, Carlos Núñez, canall Vallely, Donald Show, Davy Spillane, Revolver, Melendi,Ella baila Sola, El sueño de Morfeo, are just a few.
He has participated in the most prestigious European festivals and tours in North America and South America and is the composer of the soundtrack for the film La torre de Suso by Tom Fernández.
In May 2022, he presented his latest work Lluz at the Teatro Palacio Valdés in Avilés, where he leaves us see his most intimate and personal side.
