Exhibition
This exhibition invites us to explore Asturian women’s clothing in one of the most revolutionary decades of the 20th century.
Fashion and Women’s Emancipation
During these years, fashion became a tangible reflection of women’s emancipation: more liberated silhouettes, more practical cuts, and an aesthetic that broke with previous norms.
The Dresses in the Collection
The dresses on display, from the Muséu del Pueblu d’Asturies’ clothing collection, are witnesses to the birth of the “modern” woman, the protagonist of her own destiny.
