Literary encounter with María Gudín, who presents her novel «Las naves de Tarsis» at the Librería Cervantes in Oviedo. The author will be accompanied by the journalist and writer Carmen González Casal.
Tarsis, 1600 BC. Nórax, prince of one of the city’s great clans, grows up alongside his friend Krysaor, obsessed with the island of the Hesperides, a forbidden territory inhabited by mysterious women. When both decide to venture into that sacred place, defying the oldest law of their people, their destinies are sealed forever. Krysaor will embark on a revenge that will make the foundations of Tarsis tremble, and Nórax, who will meet the love of his life, will be dragged into an epic that will take him from the confines of the West to Egypt and Mesopotamia. The novel intertwines ancient legends, biblical echoes, and a historical background inspired by the civilizations of the Bronze Age.
