Literary encounter with the writer Martín Castro Masaveu and the illustrator Guillermo Castro, who are presenting “Juruchina” at the Librería Cervantes in Oviedo, accompanied by the writer Marta García de Castro.
Juruchina is a little girl fascinated by mirrors. One day, Carter appears to her in one of them—a very funny mosquito who comes from Reino Esperanza, a world where everything goes wrong because every bad deed committed in ours damages something in theirs. Carter asks her for help, and Juruchina travels through the mirror to Reino Esperanza, where King Ranero, a very peculiar toad, gives her a magical ring. With it, she manages to put an end to many acts of violence, hunger, and wars, until she discovers that it was not the ring, but her willpower and self-confidence, that changed her world.
