Under the title Centenary Amador (1926-2001), a commemorative exhibition is presented for the anniversary of the birth of the sculptor Amador Rodríguez, curated by Francisco Zapico. The exhibition brings together a selection of small and medium-format pieces from private collections, located through recent research by the author’s children, Amador and Cecilia Rodríguez Calvo, along with four sculptures owned by the Fundación Museo Evaristo Valle.
This commemoration is carried out in collaboration with the Museo Casa Natal de Jovellanos, where another exhibition, Universo Amador, will be held, which will place the holdings of its collection in dialogue with works owned by the author’s heirs.
