Under the title Amador Centenary (1926-2001), an exhibition commemorating the birth anniversary of sculptor Amador Rodríguez is presented, curated by Francisco Zapico.
The exhibition brings together a selection of small and medium-format pieces from private collections, mostly located through recent research by the artist’s children, Amador and Cecilia Rodríguez Calvo. These are joined by the four sculptures owned by the Evaristo Valle Museum Foundation.
This commemoration is held in collaboration with the Jovellanos Birthplace Museum, where another exhibition, Amador Universe, will be held, putting its collection’s holdings in dialogue with works owned by the artist’s heirs.
