About this venue
The Teatro Nuberu, known until 2026 as the Teatro Municipal de San Martín del Rey Aurelio, is the theatre of El Entrego. Construction began in 1919, was interrupted for a time, and the building opened in 1931. After the Civil War it served as a church because the parish church had been destroyed, and from 1970 it operated as the Cine Sindical until it closed in 1983.
It was rebuilt and reopened on 30 November 1999, then as the Teatro de El Entrego. It has 361 seats, with stalls and a general balcony, and its stage house faces La Laguna park. In 2026 it took its current name in tribute to the music group Nuberu.
