At the Hyde traveling funfair, governed by an artificial intelligence created by Dr. Jekyll, a murder shatters the illusion of the show. The detectives investigating soon discover that every attraction hides a secret, and that the fair itself might be the biggest suspect of all.
Jekyll and Hyde is a theatrical project by the collective Nosomoshermanos that takes Robert Louis Stevenson’s literary classic as its starting point to develop a hybrid contemporary creation, bringing together theater, contemporary dance, visual arts, and live technology, allowing for total audience immersion. It seeks not only to adapt the novel, but to expand its resonances, confronting its original myth with the dilemmas of our era: artificial intelligence, the automation of labor, the construction of identity, and the blurring of boundaries between the real and the simulated.
