About this venue
La Lechera is the cultural centre of Cancienes, in the municipality of Corvera de Asturias. It occupies the village’s former dairy, a late-19th-century industrial building that was on the verge of demolition and that Corvera Town Council recovered as a cultural space, opened in September 2020.
Its hall has a 10 x 5 x 6 metre stage, fitted with sound and lighting, and seats 130 spectators. Together with the El Llar theatre in Las Vegas, it is one of the main hubs of cultural life in the municipality and hosts all kinds of events.
