30th Piloña Mycological Conference

Piloña celebrates the thirtieth edition of its traditional mycological conference, a well-established event for the knowledge and promotion of the world of fungi. For four days, the town of Infiesto hosts a varied program that combines scientific rigor with educational and recreational activities.

🍄 Program of activities

• Friday 23 (Casa de Cultura): Official presentation and opening discussion panel led by mycologist Esteban Ruiz, followed by a Spanish wine reception.
• Saturday 24 (Plaza del Ayuntamiento): Popular mushroom foraging field trip followed by the reception and classification of specimens in the multipurpose room.
• Sunday 25 (Sala Polivalente): Mycological and school drawing exhibition, awards ceremony, and children’s hot chocolate.
• Monday 26 (El Prial): Mycological cooking workshop led by restaurateur Rafa Raigoso, with a final tasting (free admission until full capacity is reached).

In addition, the restaurants in the council are participating by offering special menus and dishes made with seasonal mushrooms.
