Villaviciosa celebrates International Apple Day with a program of cultural, educational, and gastronomic activities that highlights the importance of this fruit and its close connection to Asturian cider tradition.
The town hosts exhibitions, contests, workshops, interactive experiences, and activities for all audiences. Highlights include the final of the Seleición de la Meyor Sidre Casero d’Asturies – Premios Mundo Collada, a sensory installation dedicated to cider apple varieties, and a scientific outreach workshop.
