Voices of Luz de Gas Teatro

Voces intertwines three stories that share a common denominator: gender violence. Violence that we portray in different contexts and manifestations. We will get to know the story of Arlet and Nut, two women who can only laugh, joke, and be themselves in the clandestinity of their home. Woman 1 and Woman 2 lack proper names because they represent so many female victims of sexual slavery who loudly cry out for help.

Finally, the suffering of the collateral victims of this social scourge, the children, also takes center stage in a story that plays with the analogy of traditional fairy tales and the machismo underlying them.
