Synopsis
Tributo is an enclosed, escapist comedy. A rock band in the middle of nowhere. Locked in their rehearsal space with the noise of the city far away and their own noise very close. No one hears them. Soundproofed, surrounded by egg cartons, so as not to disturb, so as not to be disturbed. To scream in a silent death rattle.
Neither old glories nor young promises. That is what Los Osamenta are like. A rock band in a slump that has the opportunity to be back in the game. They have been called again to play at an important festival, televised, with catering and everything. Paid!
This is the story of a song, the same old song. A rehearsal space is like the neonatal ward where those fragile beings are born, and when they cross the threshold, the shutter of life, they are exposed. Exposed to the public, to the tides, to criticism, to failure, to oblivion.
Lucho and Víctor, two rockers who buy Nirvana t-shirts made by Inditex at Pull and Bear, review their repertoire, their legacy, their end. They return to the ring to pay themselves a tribute. It could be the story of their lives. The story of their band or of our theater company. La Teta Calva turns ten years old. Los Osamenta do too.
