Pal Pádel, in the Riaño industrial estate (Langreo), is organizing three days of charity tournament with men’s, women’s, and mixed categories. 10% of the registration fees will go to El Camino de Carlota, and the club will also have a donation box and zero row for anyone who is not playing.
The proceeds will go to El Camino de Carlota, the campaign by the Asociación Cockayne B España to fund gene therapy against Cockayne syndrome type B, an ultra-rare disease that Carlota, a four-year-old girl from Mieres, has. The goal is to raise two million euros to reach the first clinical trial.
