Taza of haikus proposes a literary and sensory experience that combines the reading and analysis of a selection of these brief poems of Japanese origin -giving space to the women who cultivated this genre- and the writing workshop of the attendees of their own haikus. All of this will take place in parallel to the live preparation of a traditional Japanese matcha tea, whose ceremony is in turn a creative process directly linked to the essence of slowness, wonder, and contemplation required by the haiku.
We will delve into both processes of Eastern culture, we will taste poetry and tea, and we will awaken our senses in a creative workshop that will take us from Japan to Asturias, thus understanding the universality of this literary genre.
