Activity Description
On the occasion of World Water Day, this workshop proposes discovering how planted aquariums function as small gardens underwater, where plants, fish, and microorganisms coexist to form an ecosystem.
We will learn how to set up and care for a plant aquarium in a simple way through an accessible explanation of the basic elements. The following topics will be covered:
- Necessary materials.
- Choice of plants and their needs (light, nutrients, and water).
- Checking water quality.
- Algae prevention and cleaning maintenance.
- Long-term care.
It is an educational activity designed to understand and maintain a small, healthy aquatic ecosystem at home.
