Asturian dance, instruments and traditional songs workshop with Nel Villanueva

Nel Villanueva, from Folclor de Raigañu, teaches an introductory workshop on Asturian dance, instruments and traditional songs at the Naveces neighbors’ association in Naveces (Castrillón).

The workshop is designed for people with no prior knowledge who are interested in traditional Asturian music and dance. The usual way to learn them is by joining a dance or folklore group, which is not always easy, and this activity is intended as an intermediate stepping stone to approach that part of Asturian culture in a simple and fun way.
