Sounds of Time 2026: free musical workshops in Boal and Grandas

The initiative by the Orquesta de Cámara Solidaria seeks to bring new cultural experiences to rural areas and foster intergenerational encounters through music.

Grandas de Salime and Boal will host a new edition of Sonidos del Tiempo over three weekends in October, a project promoted by the Orquesta de Cámara Solidaria (OCAS), through which the aim is to bring cultural experiences to rural areas, thus creating spaces for meeting and coexistence through music.

The workshops are free and open to all ages. Each session will last approximately an hour and a half, and no prior experience is necessary. The proposal seeks to bring together children, young people, adults, and seniors around different musical experiences, with activities related to singing, dancing, and instrument making.

The initiative will culminate in two concerts, in which participants will be able to be part of the musical experience alongside the OCAS. The performances, which will also feature the collaboration of Kase.O, will take place on October 24 in Grandas de Salime and on October 25 in Boal.
