Fires. Processes for a Geography of the Disaster is a photographic study about the fires that ravaged Asturias in the spring of 2023, which aims to disturb the viewer from the beauty of the sublime in a destroyed scenario. A personal project whose goal is to raise awareness of the need for a change in the use of the territory. It is a installation with an anthropological perspective based on the search for knowledge of the relationship between human beings and the landscape, whose purpose is to understand the context in which we live. A visual essay on the perception of the territory and its transformation at the hands of human beings. Because nothing is what it was and little remains of what we were.
