Event declared Festival of Tourist Interest of the Principality of Asturias

The Cébrano Sanctuary, in Carrea, hosts the pilgrimage of Our Lady of Cébrano , patron of Teverga, which is the most popular festival in the municipality.

Celebration

Thousands of people pass through the Sanctuary to pay tribute to their Virgin and participate in a celebration rooted like few in the area.

The festival focuses on a typical Asturian pilgrimage with a solemn mass at midday in which the branches that the neighbors prepare in honor of their patron are blessed.

The offering of these branches is accompanied by ancient music and romances. These works will be auctioned off at the end of the liturgy among the devotees of the Virgin and the money collected will go entirely to the Tevergan sanctuary.
