The industrial memory of Oviedo. A commented tour

This guided tour invites you to discover the industrial past of Oviedo, a fundamental history for understanding the urban and demographic growth of the city since the 19th century. Through an itinerary through the center, we will visit landmarks such as Calle La Lila, the Colonia de San Feliz, the Fábrica de Armas de La Vega, the Fábrica de Gas, the Cortijo de Regla and the Plaza Trascorrales, among other key points.

The activity is led by Toño Huerta, geographer and director of the Fundación Juan Muñiz Zapico, who will explain how the current urban layout still preserves the traces of its working-class and manufacturing past.
