Lucija, an introverted 16-year-old girl, joins her Catholic school’s girls’ choir, where she strikes up a friendship with Ana-Marija, a popular and self-confident student. During a weekend retreat at a rural convent, Lucija’s interest in an attractive dark-eyed worker will test her friendship with Ana-Marija and the other girls. As she adapts to an unfamiliar environment and discovers her burgeoning sexuality, Lucija begins to question her beliefs and values, disturbing the harmony of the choir.
