The Municipal Integrated Centers of El Llano and El Coto host these seminars, which aim to offer an analysis of the fashion of the twenties and its link with the rise of feminism. A space for analysis and reflection, in the form of brief interventions made by specialists, in which to explore how the women of the time, with their new proposals for style, challenged social norms and asserted themselves in a context of great political and cultural transformations.

Wednesday, March 25

18.30 – 18.40 h. Presentation

18.40 – 19.00 h. The arrival in Asturias of modern women. Sonia García Galán (PhD in History).

19.00 – 19.20 h. The entretelas of the collection of clothing of the Muséu del Pueblu d’Asturies: conservation and exhibition. Elena Pérez Morán (Technician of the museum funds of the Muséu del Pueblu d’Asturies).

19.20 – 19.40 h. Twenty years of the 20th century: the woman, fashion and art. Isabel Gómez Aguilera (Graduate in Geography and History and in History of Art).

19.40 – 20.00 h. Fashion with History: a project for the dissemination and conservation of Asturian textile heritage. Luis Alberto Fernández González.

20.00- 20.30 h. Round table
