At the Hyde travelling fair, governed by an artificial intelligence created by Dr. Jekyll, a murder shatters the illusion of the show. The investigating detectives soon discover that every attraction hides a secret, and that the fair itself might be the biggest suspect of all.
Jekyll y Hyde is a theatrical project by the collective Nosomoshermanos that takes Robert Louis Stevenson’s literary classic as a starting point to develop a hybrid contemporary creation, where theatre, contemporary dance, visual arts, and live technology converge, allowing for the total immersion of the audience. It does not seek to merely adapt the novel, but to expand its resonances, confronting its original myth with the dilemmas of our era: artificial intelligence, the automation of labour, the construction of identity, and the blurring of boundaries between the real and the simulated.
