Art and space in the Museo Barjola
The exhibition Intersecciones. Geometrías derivadas proposes a reformulation of the space within the chapel of the Museo Barjola through an installation specifically conceived for this location. The proposal is composed of several three-dimensional pieces that generate new pathways and spatial relationships, placing the viewer in a hybrid territory that transcends the limits of the physical and the material.
The pieces take as a reference the geometry of the dome and the groin vault of the chapel, synthesizing and transferring their forms to the exhibition space. In this way, the architecture becomes the formal origin of the intervention.
