Evaristo Valle Museum Foundation | Open House Day

Are you looking for a different cultural plan to enjoy in Gijón? The Fundación Museo Evaristo Valle celebrates International Museum Day by opening its doors so you can tour its most iconic spaces completely free of charge. 🎨

You can enjoy this open house day from May 15, 2026 to May 17, 2026. Access is free and open during the following times:

• FRIDAY, MAY 15: 11:00 – 14:00
• SATURDAY, MAY 16: 17:00 – 20:00
• SUNDAY, MAY 17: 12:00 – 14:00

What can you visit? 🏛️

During your visit, you will have the opportunity to explore the museum’s permanent exhibition, as well as its impressive Historic Gardens and Sculpture Park. The Bonsái. Donación Rolf Beyebach space and the curious Shell Cabinet will also be open to the public.

In addition, you will be able to see the temporary exhibitions currently at the museum:

• Miradas cruzadas en la colección de arte contemporáneo del Museo Evaristo Valle
• Centenario Amador (1926-2001)
• C@C Museo Virtual 2ª edición: «La herencia codificada, del ADN al qúbit»

Keep in mind that, due to the nature of the visits, there may be capacity restrictions in some of the rooms during guided tours. It is a fantastic opportunity to get closer to art and nature in a unique setting!
