The Contrueces festivities celebrate a special edition this year with the ‘Día del Sportinguismo’ as the main highlight. The neighborhood dresses in red and white to enjoy a traditional pilgrimage in the ‘prau’ of Los Pericones, with a program that includes music, gastronomy, and activities for all audiences.
Featured Program
- Friday: Pirate Carnival (18:30) and opening speech by David Alonso (21:30).
- Saturday: ‘Día del Sportinguismo’ with walking football training, presence of former players, live music with the Solara orchestra, and DJ Dani Vieites.
- Sunday: Traditional games, chocolate with churros, and an open-air dance with the group Cuarta Calle.
- Monday: Member’s Day with distribution of the ‘bollu’, Civil Guard exhibition, and foam party.
The festival committee has confirmed that access to the venue is free and open this year. For the popular meals, the purchase of tickets is required for the paella feast (13 euros) and the barbecue (20-22 euros).
