This festival was born at the end of the 19th century, being a manifestation of conviviality and popular participation that celebrates the arrival of spring and the end of the Easter fast.
El Bollo is a sweet bread that godfathers give to their godsons, on Easter Sunday.

On Easter Sunday, at midday, and on Easter Monday, in the afternoon, a wide procession runs through the streets of the city with decorated carriages, giants, and big-headed figures, music bands and folk groups.

On Easter Monday, a massive outdoor meal is held in the historic center streets and city parks.
