Kyle Eastwood, one of the most recognized figures in contemporary international jazz, presents his project Eastwood by Eastwood at the Teatro Palacio Valdés. This show is one of the star activities of the sixth edition of the Festival Fifty-Fifty de Jazz y Poesía in Avilés.
The concert fuses the musician’s two great passions: jazz and cinema. Through new jazz interpretations, the quintet revisits iconic soundtracks from the filmography of Clint Eastwood, including themes from films such as The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Dirty Harry, Gran Torino, and The Bridges of Madison County. The original compositions belong to authors of the stature of Ennio Morricone, Lalo Schifrin, John Williams, and Kyle Eastwood himself.
