San Antonio Fair 2026 — Gijón/Xixón

If you are looking for the perfect plan to connect with our roots, you cannot miss the Feria de San Antonio 2026. It is a wonderful opportunity for families and visitors to enjoy Asturian rural tradition, craftsmanship, and the best folklore in a close and welcoming atmosphere.

The event will take place from June 12 to 14 at the Recinto Ferial de Asturias Luis Adaro, in Gijón/Xixón. Best of all, admission is free, making it the ideal plan to enjoy without worries.

📅 Program of activities

The fair offers a complete agenda for all tastes:

• Friday, June 12 (9:30 – 12:30): Educational day “Discovering the Traditions of the Asturian Countryside” with workshops on Asturian veal, the world of honey, cider culture, and traditional games.
• Saturday, June 13 (11:00 – 20:00): Great Livestock Exhibition, artisanal products market, craft demonstrations, and traditional music. At 12:00 will be the official opening.
• Sunday, June 14 (11:00 – 15:00): Continuation of the livestock exhibition, market of flavors of Asturias, and performances by the Banda Gaites Saxum and the Grupo Folklórico La Alegría Porceyo.

🎯 Highlights: The Gomeru Asturiano

One of the great proposals is the activity dedicated to the gomeru asturiano. You can participate in it on Saturday, June 13 at the pabellón central de la Feria de Muestras de Asturias, from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 19:00. 🌾

🥘 Gastronomy and Culture

During the weekend, there will be no shortage of participatory proposals to learn how to prepare the Cachopo Asturiano or get started in cider pouring and cider culture. In addition, on Saturday at 19:00, the Premio San Antonio a la Trayectoria Rural will be presented, a very special moment to recognize work in the countryside. 🍎
