The Recinto Ferial de Asturias Luis Adaro is Gijón’s large trade fair and congress venue, managed by the city’s Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation. It covers around 160,000 m² in the Gijón parish of Somió, beside the right bank of the Piles river, and was created in 1971.

The complex brings together several pavilions, including the Central, Asturias and Nations pavilions, along with a Congress Palace. It has carried its current name since 2007, when it was agreed to dedicate it to Luis Adaro during a tribute held at the Feria Internacional de Muestras de Asturias.
