Five photographers travel through the neighborhoods of Gijón with instant cameras in hand to portray their architecture, their people, and their small businesses over 48 hours. This exhibition at the Caja Rural de Asturias presents a visual mosaic that documents the idiosyncrasy of each district as a historical-artistic repository of the first quarter of the 21st century. 📸
The exhibition opens on Tuesday, September 1 at 19:00.
The project seeks to highlight the importance of neighborhood life, turning each area of the city into a protagonist microworld. Through this creative exercise, the authors capture the essence of the streets and the urban landscape of Gijón, offering a close and authentic look at the city’s identity. 📍
