About the exhibition

This collective project brings together drawing and painting students from the Universidad Popular, under the direction of professor Alicia Soriano. The central idea is fascinating: the smocks and work clothes used in the workshop become canvases that narrate hours of learning, experimentation, and personal search. 🖌️

Through the stains, colors, and textures of these garments, the artists show us an indirect self-portrait. It is an invitation to look beyond the final work and discover the mark of those who created it, engaging in dialogue with art references such as Yayoi Kusama, Ana Mendieta, and René Magritte.
