En llucha incierta , translation of In Dubious Batlle by Daniel García Granda, received in 2024 the Florina Alías Award for Best Translation into Asturian.
Daniel García Granda (La Pola Siero, 1972) holds a degree in English Philology and is a Secondary Education teacher. He is the author of poetry collections such as Poemes del últimu salvaxe, El raitán y el sangrín or Rosada 3.0 (winner of the Fernán Coronas Award in 2022), and children’s books such as Versos d’Asturies, Amorina Motosierra and Prau , as well as translations such as El saber del país / Country wisdom by John Berger.
