El Mercaón is the major livestock fair in Cabañaquinta, the capital of the council of Aller. It returns after a blank year due to restrictions imposed by the Rural Environment department because of contagious bovine pleuropneumonia (lumpy skin disease), which the Principality has lifted following the favorable evolution of the disease. Livestock will attend, especially horses, along with some sheep and goats.
This edition premieres the new livestock fairgrounds in Cabañaquinta, in which the City Council has invested one million euros plus VAT from Just Transition Funds.

- Only animals from farms located in Asturias that have continuously remained in the community before June 1, 2026, or born in it since that date without having left, may participate. In both cases, the animals must not have left Asturias after June 1.
