El Castañeru Redes Trail celebrates its thirteenth edition in Rioseco, in the municipality of Sobrescobio, featuring a mountain race that runs through the surroundings of the Parque Natural de Redes.
The event offers participants the opportunity to discover the landscapes and forests of this natural space through a route that combines traditional paths, mountain trails, and stretches of ascents and descents. The itinerary starts from the plaza del Ayuntamiento de Rioseco and passes through the Senda del Castañeru Montés, the Camín de La Mereal, Cueria, and La Cuesta de la Brava, until reaching the Collá de Ladines. From there, the route descends through Les Taconeres and Ladines, returning to Rioseco via El Castrín.
