Through a continuous interplay between fiction and reality, El entusiasmo addresses with humor, irony, and emotional depth the contradictions of adult life, the search for meaning in middle age, marital crises, and the lives that could have been.
The play, written and directed by Pablo Remón, is structured into a prologue and four parts that function almost independently, creating a mosaic of stories that explore the life trajectory of a couple. It is a theatrical artifact with the ambition and playfulness typical of the postmodern novel, proposing an emotional journey through the passage of time, identity, and life decisions.
