About the event

Synopsis

Constellations is a contemporary play that explores the relationship between X, a quantum physicist, and Y, a beekeeper. Their meeting seems casual, but the story is presented through the theory of parallel universes and the concept of the multiverse, showing how the same relationship can develop in radically different ways depending on small choices, circumstances, or coincidences.

The play begins with an apparently simple scene: X and Y meet. From there, multiple variations of that situation unfold, in which the same dialogues are repeated with different nuances, generating scenarios where the relationship thrives, fails, never happens, or ends abruptly. Each version is like an alternative reflection, a possibility in that “mosaic” of coexisting universes.

As the piece progresses, the jumps between universes become more significant: we see the couple face living together, infidelity, illness, and death. One of the dramatic cores is X’s brain cancer diagnosis, which introduces a deep level of vulnerability and decision-making. The play does not offer a single outcome, but rather shows the fragility and beauty of life through the coexistence of possibilities.
