The ninth edition of the Rural Cinema and Women film series arrives at the Centro de Arte Rupestre de Tito Bustillo to screen Lo que queda de ti (2025), a feature film directed by filmmaker Gala Gracia.
At 25 years old, Sara is about to record a jazz album in New York, but following the death of her father, she returns to her hometown in the Huesca Pyrenees. There she inherits, along with her sister, a farm and a flock of sheep. Overwhelmed by guilt for not having been with her father in his final years, she rejects the proposal to sell the flock and decides to preserve his legacy. Sara is willing to fight for it, even if it means giving up the musical career that took her so much effort to build.
Following the screening, the Colectivo Feminista de Muyeres Rurales del Oriente will lead the workshop “What do we do with what remains?, grief and rootedness”.
