This technical seminar explores the material culture of the Asturias castreña through three specialized presentations on ceramics and ancient architecture. The meeting brings together experts from institutions such as the Museos Arqueológicos de Gijón, the CSIC, and the Universidad de Oviedo to analyze the legacy of the Iron Age. 🏺

- 18:00-18:40: Iron Age ceramics in Asturias: state of the art, by Rubén Montes López (Museos Arqueológicos de Gijón).
- 18:40-19:20: Ceramic production in the Northwest: between castreña tradition and the Roman world, with Alicia Hernández Tórtoles (Instituto de Historia, CSIC).
- 19:20-20:00: Clay and wood architecture of central Asturias castreña, given by Fernando Rodríguez del Cueto and Elena Lastra Alonso (Universidad de Oviedo).
The session will conclude with a debate space scheduled from 20:00 to 20:30, where the conclusions of the presented research will be shared.
