Two talkative rogues, who have made the Pilgrimage of the Shrines on multiple occasions, seek to earn some food by telling the story of the shrines and their adventures along said path, highlighting the contributions of the Kings of Asturias, from Don Pelayo (year 718) to Ramiro III (year 866) and their influence on this path. To make the story more enjoyable, they dramatize the life and situations of these important monarchs, accompanied by the musical accompaniment of a poor mute.
