This exhibition is the first display created from the holdings of the collection of the Centro Nacional de Fotografía. With 102 works by 38 artists, the exhibition covers the main names, languages, and trends of contemporary Spanish photography, bringing together works by all the National Photography Award winners granted to date.
The exhibition proposes a reflection on photography as a space for encounter between different generations, sensibilities, and forms of representation, inviting visitors to discover new readings of the past and the present. The exhibition is curated by Mónica Carabias Álvaro, director of the Centro Nacional de Fotografía (CNF).
