This exhibition and illustrated poetry collection pays tribute to the figure of José María García, who captured the essence of popular culture and rural Asturian society in his verses. The project, promoted by Ediciones Patanegra, seeks to rescue and disseminate the work of one of the first poets in Asturian, whose vision of local cultural identity is fundamental to understanding the region’s past.
The exhibition brings together the work of a prominent collective of graphic artists who have reinterpreted García’s poems through their visual creations. Participating in this proposal are:
- Natalia Pastor
- Breza Cechini
- Mario Cervero
- Fermín Santos
- Pedro Domínguez Carazo
- Consuelo Vallina
- Cesar Ripoll
- Herminio
- Fernanda Alvarez
- Ana Vila
