
The Government of the Principality Pavilion at the 69th Feria Internacional de Muestras de Asturias (FIDMA) celebrates the 45th anniversary of the approval of the Statute of Autonomy of Asturias. Under the slogan Asturies yes tu, the institutional space offers an immersion into the social, technological, and cultural advances of the region through a recreation of a traditional pilgrimage.
Experiences and Activities
Visitors will be able to enjoy a wide variety of interactive proposals:
- Technology and Innovation: Demonstrations with surgical robots, artificial intelligence, humanoids, and augmented reality.
- Culture and Leisure: Space dedicated to the Radiotelevisión del Principado de Asturias (TPA), audiovisual area with cinema filmed in the region, retro video games, and photocalls.
- Tradition: Cider pouring workshops, gastronomy, storytelling, music, and traditional games, as well as live demonstrations of artisan crafts.
- Games: Participation in a game based on the TPA program El Picu.
Practical Information
The event takes place from August 1 to August 16, 2026 at the Recinto Ferial Luis Adaro in Gijón. Visiting hours are from 11:00 to 14:30 and from 16:30 to 21:00. Admission is free, although some specific activities such as the Escape Room “Explora Europa” (scheduled for August 6) require prior reservation through the official tourism website.
