Art and disability: Bestiary to reimagine ourselves Session 1

This workshop invites adults with disabilities to create their own monsters inspired by the Portuguese figurative tradition from the Barcelos region. Through this activity, participants will reflect on their identity and personal perception to materialize their own beasts.

The workshop will be taught by the Colectivo Berde with Martín Huamanchumo. The activity is divided into two creative stages:

• Exploration through drawing to define the characteristics of the beasts.
• Working with clay to discover its potential and give physical form to the figures.

Please note that the organization does not accept returns, except in the event of the activity being cancelled.
