‘Gray Flowers’. Tribute to Lorca. Carla Armas.

Flores Grises is an intimate and visual experience in which Carla Armas, accompanied by her musicians, brings the texts of Federico García Lorca to life through music, poetry, and art. In this show, gray and color represent two emotional worlds in conflict; the struggle between the two will be the common thread of the show, in a narrative where the musical, theatrical, and pictorial merge.

Throughout the show, Carla uncovers paintings that had been covered with gray fabric, revealing the color hidden underneath. Each unveiling symbolizes one more step in the journey from darkness to light, accompanied by original music and the verses of Lorca. The repertoire consists of 9 original songs that traverse styles such as pop, rock, folk, and reminiscences of classical and electronic music.
